Questions about Urdu text to speech

Is there a Pakistani accent?

Yes. In Single voice, choose the “Pakistani / Urdu” accent — a soft, melodic Urdu-influenced delivery — with any of the 30 voices.

Can it read shayari?

Yes. There are 25 shayar characters — from Shayar Sahab and Begum Sahiba to Sufi Saain and the comedy poets — and a [poetic] cue before a line gives it the feel of a sher.

How much does it cost?

Sign up and get 1,000 free credits — one per person, valid for 30 days, no card needed. A voice costs 200, 300 or 650 credits per 1,000 characters in Swift, Studio or Ultra quality, and short cues in [brackets] are free. An Urdu letter counts 1.25 (a Roman letter counts 1), because Urdu says the same in fewer letters. The free credits make up to 5 minutes of voice in Swift (about 4 in Studio); plans start at ₹349 a month, and the Studio shows the cost before you make anything.

Can I use the voices on YouTube and Instagram?

Yes — on monetised channels too, within YouTube’s and Instagram’s own rules. You download plain MP3, WAV or MP4 files, with no logo and no audible watermark. You are responsible for what your script says.

Can it sound like a famous person?

No. Every voice is an original character. Requests to copy or imitate a real person, a celebrity or a film or cartoon character are refused, and nothing is charged.
